Christina Bair Sigler , 58 Jul 28, 1962 - Jul 20, 2021 Clear Spring, Maryland-Christina Bair Sigler, 58, of Clear Spring, MD passed away on Tuesday July 20,2021 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD.
Born in Hagerstown, MD on July 28, 1962, she was the daughter of Robert William Bair and the late Helen Christine Kriner.
She was a 1980 graduate of Williamsport High School and worked for the Herald Mail in Hagerstown until her retirement in 2019.
She was a member of St Paul's Reformed Church in Clear Spring, MD, and a member of the Clear Spring Historical Association.
Chris struggled her entire life. She lost her mother when she was just 11 years old. Immediately after that she developed kidney issues and eventually became dependent on kidney dialysis for 29 years. It didn't bring her down and didn't hold her back. While on dialysis, she still traveled the entire United States, and a good portion of Europe. She was truly an inspiration to so many who knew her. She absolutely loved her family and was always excited to cook and bake for them, even when she was tired and not feeling well.
She is survived by her husband of 35 years Gregg A. Sigler, father and stepmother Robert W. and Donna K. Bair of Big Pool, MD, a son Bryce Sigler and his wife Kristin of Sharpsburg, MD, grandchildren Everett Sigler, Scarlett Sigler, and Bennett Sigler, a brother D. Scott Bair of Hedgesville, WV, a sister Mendy Mills of Hagerstown, MD, mother-in- law Kathleen A. Sigler of Hagerstown, MD and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to her mother, Chris was preceded in death by maternal grandparents William E. and Lillian K. Kretzer Kriner, paternal grandparents William E. and Betty "June" Rhodes Bair and her father-in-law James T. Sigler.
The family will receive friends on Sunday July 25,2021 from 7:00-9:00pm at the Osborne Funeral Home 425 S. Conococheague St. Williamsport, MD 21795. For the convenience of family and friends the funeral home will open Sunday at 12:00 noon.
Funeral services will be held on Monday July 26,2021 at 11:00am at St. Paul's Reformed Church in Clear Spring, MD with Rev. Laura Bair, and Rev. Dennis Whitmore officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Clear Spring, MD.
