Chin Min Lim, 75, DuBois, passed away Friday, July 15, 2022, at Penn Highlands DuBois.Born January 20, 1947, in India, he was the son of Chun-Jee and Man-Yun Lim.On May 10, 1975, he married Lavina (Hogan) Lim in Toronto, Ontario. She survives.Chin graduated from St. Placid High School in Chittagong, Bangladesh. He attended BASF in Ludwigshafen, Germany, Bayer in Leverkusen, Germany, and Earnshaw Engineering in Eastleigh, UK, where Chin studied Chemical Engineering and Leather Tanning. Chin served as the Vice President of Operations for Wickett and Craig in Curwensville. He was fluent in five different languages. As a member of Treasure Lake Church, he was very active in church activities including being a Bible teacher. Chin had a deep love and knowledge of the Bible. He loved reading about cars, especially those made in Germany and spending time with his family and friends.In addition to his wife, Chin is survived by two children, Jonathan (Madison) Lim, Philadelphia, and Samuel (Rachel) Lim, DuBois, two grandchildren, Liliana and Lindi Lim, and six sisters, Yen-Sha, Aye-Sha, Lee-Sha, Mee-Sha, Ying-Sha, and Ching-Sha.Chin was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Chee Min.Friends and family will be received Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium. A funeral service will be held Friday, July 22, 2022, at 11 a.m. from the Treasure Lake Church with Rev. Dave Ginn officiating.
