Chester Dwain Walker, 95, of Plainview passed away on September 22, 2024 in Olton, Texas. A visitation will be held Friday, September 27th from 6:00 P.M. to 7 P.M. at Kornerstone Funeral Directors. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. September 28th at Olton Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.
Dwain was born on June 24, 1929 to Chester and Viola Walker in the State of Missouri. He moved to Texas as a young man and lived in Olton for many years. He married Lavenia (Howard) Walker on September 27, 1951. Dwain liked fishing, hunting, playing dominoes and pool. He liked to visit with friends and family.
Dwain was preceded in death by: his parents, Chester and Viola Walker; his wife, Lavenia (Howard) Walker; his second wife, Wilma (Bloxam) Walker; third wife, Marnell (Armstrong) Walker; his son, Michael Walker; three sisters, Melba Medlin, Louise Harmon and Imogene Bannister; one Brother, Dennis Walker.
Those left to cherish his memory are son, Lester Walker and wife, Sharon of Frederick, Oklahoma; daughter, Wanell Pierson of Plainview, Texas, 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews
The family suggests memorials to the Runningwater Draw Care Center in Dwain's memory.
