Cheryle Karen Anderson, 73, a resident of Columbus, Indiana, passed from this life at 12:35 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Anderson was born July 27, 1946, in Franklin, Indiana, the loving daughter of Kenneth and Margaret Burton Willey. On May 16, 1965, Cheryle married John Thomas "Tom" Anderson; he survives.
Mrs. Anderson was a 1964 graduate of Nineveh High School and was formerly employed at PromptMed and Champus.
Mrs. Anderson loved to do many things in her life, some of them include, going to Tennessee and the Great Smokey Mountains, attending family gatherings and taking trips with her friends, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving to cherish her memories are her husband of nearly 55 years, John "Tom" Anderson; children, Michael (Brenda) Anderson of Columbus and Debbie Anderson Brown and her husband, Donnie of Whiteland, Indiana; grandchildren, Heather (Chad) Meadows of Whiteland, Indiana and Kyle Anderson and his companion, Mikayla Hounshell of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Aubri Meadows, Sophie Meadows and Emmalynn Anderson; step-grandchild, Sarah Ellis; sisters, Deborah (Richard) Speck of Plant City, Florida, Fayrenne (Tim) Waggoner of Detroit, Michigan, Kimberly (Don) Ward of Oscoda, Michigan and Terri Willey of Columbus; brother, Steven Willey of Corpus Christi, Texas; half-sister, Diana Keller of Illinois; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Anderson was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Margaret Willey; sisters, Pudgie Blessing, Sandy Willey and Brenda (Durbin) Willey; and brother, Timothy Willey.
In keeping with the family's wishes, cremation is planned. A celebration of life service will be held at later date at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in memory of Mrs. Anderson.
