Cheryl Lynn 'Gurlee' Joseph Johnson, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie, LA, was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. She was 66 years old. She is survived by her husband Robert Johnson of Metairie LA, and daughter Katrina Joseph. She is also survived by her granddaughter Koraishalynn Webster; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Cheryl is preceded in death by her father; Chester Joseph; her mother Rachel Valentine: and her granddaughter Jamie Joseph. Cheryl will be deeply missed, always loved, and certainly Never forgotten. A visitation will occur Saturday, July 9th, 2022 from 12:00-1:00 pm at Richardson Funeral Home, 11112 Jefferson Highway, River Ridge, LA 70123. The visitation will be followed by a celebration of life at 1:00 pm. Minister Denise Carter of Faith and Hope Baptist Church will be officiating. Richardson Funeral Home of Jefferson, River Ridge, LA in charge of arrangements.
