On January 9, 2021, after a lengthy battle with cancer, Cheryl A. Grimm went to do burnouts in the sky with her recently departed husband Tom.
Cheryl was born in Yakima, WA in 1956 by parents Bonham J Sparks and Delores M Sparks. She grew up in the Lynnwood area and graduated from Meadowdale High School in 1974. Cheryl enjoyed playing softball, bowling, and cruising Colby in her younger years. She married the love of her life, Tom, in 1976 and worked for Safeway for 30+ years. She loved to lend a hand on the family farm. She enjoyed spending time at car shows, gardening, scrapbooking, genealogy and watching the Seahawks play.
She leaves behind daughters Hillary Allan (Andy) and Jessica Bailey (Craig), grandson Cade, siblings Sandra Fox (Mike), Barbara Spofford (Pete), Alan Sparks (Cathy), Thomas Sparks (Darcy), and numerous extended family and many special friends.
Cheryl will be laid to rest, beside her beloved husband of 40 years, at the Little White Church on the Hill in Silvana. Memorial service is postponed, due to current government restrictions.
