Cheryl R. (Thompson) Forsyth 73 of Franklin, IN passed away Sunday, March 01, 2020 at the Indiana Masonic Home at Compass Park in Franklin, IN. She was born December 1, 1946 in Indianapolis, IN to Gerald and Dorothy (Whitaker) Thompson. She married Charles Denton "Denny" Forsyth on February 28, 1969 at Tabernacle Christian Church in Franklin, he preceded her in death on March 3, 2015. She attended Whiteland Schools. She had been a realtor for Carpenter Realtors in Franklin. She previously had been a hairdresser and did clerical work for various businesses. She was a longtime member of Tabernacle Christian Church in Franklin and past president of the American Legion Post 205 Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, the spring time outside and spending time with the grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter Dala R. Rhoades of Franklin, IN, sons Jon Denton Forsyth (Erin) of Franklin, IN and Charles David Forsyth (Kim) of Trafalgar, IN, nine grandchildren Kisha R. Alcorn, Trenton Dale Rhoades (Baylee), Dylan D. Forsyth, Noah Ludwig, Benjamin A. Forsyth, Ashley DeJulio (Brent), Evan Stewart (Allison), Derek Crocker (Kelly), and Nick Crocker, eight great grandchildren Kaydence, Jaxon, Skylar, Alayna, Braxton, Mia, Leo and Rowan, her brother Gerald David Thompson of Bargersville, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother Scott Thompson. Pastor Evie Stuard will conduct a service on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at 1PM at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center 300 South U.S. 31 (Morton Street) in Franklin, IN. Friends may call Wednesday, March 4, 2020 from 4PM until 8PM at the mortuary. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin, IN. A reception will follow the service on Thursday at the Franklin American Legion Post 205 1200 Park Avenue Franklin, IN.
