Cherie Lynn Wells
Help us celebrate Cherie! Please share your stories and photos, and invite others who remember Cherie.
Cherie Lynn Wells peacefully passed away at her home, August 22, 2020 due to health issues with her three children and immediate family, friends at her bedside. She was born Oct. 24, 1967, in Klamath Falls, Ore. to Benjamin "Ben" H and Joyce (Dunn) Wells. Cherie loved to crochet and make jewelry with beads and always was making things for others, such as soft cuddly Afghans for the new babies, warm slippers; beanies for anyone she thought could use them. She just loved making her jewelry and crochet items for others. During her childhood, she loved riding horses, motorcycles, camping and fishing. She was very close to her nieces and nephews as they were growing up. She has three children of her own, Stephenie Wells, twins: Benjamin and Brandon Erickson. Cherie is survived by her precious little dog "Reba", brothers, Perry Chocktoot, Terry Chocktoot, Corey Wells, her sister Annette Hill, her lifetime friend Jeanine Wells (that also married her brother Corey Wells): her "other mother" Joan Bielby, her three children, three granddaughters: Trinity, Autumn, Brooklyn as well as numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces, nephews. She was preceded in death by her Dad and Mom; Ben and Joyce Wells. At Cherie's request there will be no viewing, she just wants everyone to remember her as they knew her. Please join us if you wish in celebrating her life on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. for a potluck at the home of Jeanine and Corey Wells. Jeanine and Corey will furnish the hamburgers and hot dogs and would request anyone that wishes to bring a side dish, salad, desert, etc. to fill out the meal. We would like to ask you to RSVP so we can sort of know how many to expect. Thank you so much. Her family has requested in lieu of flowers that anyone wishing to do so make a contribution in Cherie's name to their favorite charity. In Jesus name Amen!
