Charlotte Wooten, age 82, of Cartersville, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at her residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Oothcalooga Baptist Church with Rev. Gary Hibberts officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Charlotte retired from the U.S. Postal Service with 21 years of service and attended Crosswalk Nazarene Church. She loved her family and cherished the time she got to spend with them.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gregory "Wade" Martin and siblings, Arlissa White, John Hartsfield, Trudy White, David Hartsfield, Hubert Hartsfield, Max Hartsfield and Tony Hartsfield. Charlotte is survived by her children, Davis "Michael" Martin and Cathy Gilliland (Charlie); four grandchildren, Greg Martin, Chrissy Crump (Rockey), Corrie Cabe (Tony) and Josh Brown (Miranda); seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Ruby Biddy, Gladys Johnson and Eva Mae Jones; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
