Mrs. Charlotte Lee Akers Brown, age 77, returned to her Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. She was born in Hazard, KY on September 11, 1944 to the late Virgil Akers and Hazel Gertrude Napier.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Dennis Brown; a son, Jeffery Alan Brown (Theresa); a daughter, Andrea Bard (Craig); three grandchildren, Dr. Kelsey McCallister, Meagan Oliver and T.J. Brown; four great grandchildren, Kayden Oliver, Kolton Alvey, Graeme McCallister and Ian McCallister; a brother, Bud Akers, and two sisters, Virginia Ramsey and Sandra Williams and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Friday, June 10, 2022 in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood and Brooks Funeral Home (4895 N. Preston Hwy. Shepherdsville, KY 40165) with burial to follow at Brookland Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects on Thursday from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
