Charlie E Miller 79 of Metamora IN, went home to be with his Lord January 28, 2022. He was born on May 12, 1942 in Whitley Co Ky.to the late Arthur Issaic Miller and Lillie Alice Miller. Charlie married his beloved wife Darlene Davis Garrison Sept. 29, 2015.She survives. Charlie retired from the Connersville Water Co. after 35 years of service. Charlie enjoyed spending time with all his Family, coon hunting, and his Bluegrass Music. Him and his siblings started singing and playing as young children. They later formed The Miller Brothers Blue Grass Band. They played at Festivals in many states. Charlie and Nolan Faulkner of Fancy Farms Ky.were the only 2 surviving members in the band. They wrote several songs. They were inducted into The South Eastern Blue Grass Hall Of Honor in Michigan on August of 2021..
Charlie was loved by everyone who knew him. He dearly loved his wife, children, step children and grandchildren. Charlie attended Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Lakeview.
In addition to his wife Charlie is survived by his children Sherrie ( Mike) Taylor, Tricia Miller, Brenda (Billy) Hall, Stacy ( Charles) Drew, Shelly Snyder (Steve) and Susie (Terrence ) Hjermestad He is survived by his Step Sons Jimmie( Patti Robertson) Greer, Steve ( Tracy) Greer, Christopher ( Julie ) Greer and his Daughter In Love Michelle Waters. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, a very special niece Golda Gallagher, and a host of nieces, nephews and Friends.
Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, his Son Eddy D. Miller, grandson Austin Greer, Brothers Raymond Miller, Earl Miller, Fred Arvel Miller, Marvin C Miller, Arvel Lee Miller, Bobby Joe Miller, James C. Miller, Coleman Miller, his sisters Rutha Miller Lambdin, Pansy Miller. Hazel Miller Hill and Francis Opal Miller/
Services will be held on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 1 PM in Moster Mortuary, with Pastor John Bennett presiding. Friends are welcome to visit the family from 11 AM until the time of service in the mortuary. Burial will be held in Orange Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Reid Hospice in memory of Charlie.
