Charles John Zebrosky, Jr., 79, of Concord, passed away Friday, July 23, 2021 at Novant Health Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.
Born January 19, 1942 in Binghamton. NY, he was the son of the late Anne Chechotka and Charles Zebrosky. He was a 1959 graduate of Binghamton North High School and received an Associates Degree in Electronics from Broome Community College and SUNY at Binghamton NY. He was an electrical mechanical engineer for Universal Instruments for 20 years and retired from IBM after 15 years of service. He was a veteran of the United States Navy serving on the USS Guardian, a radar picket ship.
Mr. Zebrosky was a member of St. James Catholic Church. He enjoyed playing softball, bowling, hockey, fishing and hunting. He was a Little League Coach for 13 years and a hockey coach for 3 years. He enjoyed antique cars and working with his hands and traveling playing golf with the couples' group, family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Bonnie Wrightson Zebrosky whom he married August 6, 1966; sons, Damian Zebrosky (Teri) of Rosemont, MN and Kristian Zebrosky of Charlotte; and grandchildren, Jacob, Katherine, Abigail Nathan and Carina.
The family will receive friends 10 - 11 a.m. Friday, July 30, 2021 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m. with Father John Eckert officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Cemetery..
