Charles Arthur Teske, Sr. of Allen, TX went to be with the Lord on January 8, 2022 at the age of 81. He was born on August 9, 1940 to Frank and Eva Augusta (Reim) Teske in Enid, OK. Charles graduated from Carrier High School in 1958 and served 2 tours with the US Navy in the Pacific from 1958-62, 65-66 working on a destroyer as a Sonarman First Class. After leaving the Navy Charles worked for Sinclair Oil Co. and then for their successor Arco Oil and Gas. During his time with Sinclair Charles met Sylvia Muriel Pust in Glendive Mt. They would be married on July 4, 1968 in Shaddock, OK. Sylivia would remain by his side through thick and thin for 53 years, loving and caring for him until his final day. Charles retired from Arco in 1989 after 29 years of faithful service. Not being the type to sit around, Charles then went to work with his friend Dale Kitchens as a traveling oilfield sales rep. where he could engage in his favorite pastimes of telling stories and seeing new places. His final big adventure was in co-founding Premier Wood Care, Inc. in 2000 with his son Charles Jr. where he worked and sometimes played until 2018. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting in his younger days and was a devout family man. He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Teske of Allen, TX; sons, Charles Arthur Teske, Jr. and wife, Kimberly Kay of Rockwall, TX and Jason Teske of Phuket, Thailand; grandchildren, Kody G. Pack, Abbygail Teske, and Tanner Teske; brothers, Larry Teske of Enid, OK, Randy Teske of Carrier, OK, and Denny Gibson of Carrier, OK; sisters, Sandy Elledge of Norman, OK, Jody Oldham of Peachtree, GA, and Kathy Wright of Muskogee, OK; and numerous nieces and nephews. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Earl Teske and Rick Gibson; stepmother, Esther Teske; and Aunt "Auntie" Lydia Sparks who held a special place in his heart. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM., Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Allen Cemetery, 411 E. McDermott Dr., Allen, TX, 75002. Friends and family who knew and loved Charles are welcome to attend this celebration of his extraordinary life.
