Mr. Charles Wood Sizemore

Mr. Charles Wood Sizemore, 86, of Worth County, died on Thursday, February 29, 2024 at his residence.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Banks Funeral Home Chapel, interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Marion Sizemore will officiate.

Mr. Sizemore was born on December 20, 1937 in Worth County, to the late Richard Elbridge and Everlyn Griffin Sizemore. He had lived in Worth County for the past 25 years and was in the real estate business where he bought, sold, rented, and financed properties. Mr. Sizemore enjoyed antiquing and going to flea markets.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Quarles Sizemore of Worth County, GA; children, Woody Sizemore (Gaylynn) and Connie Gutierrez (Albert) all of Texas, Chase Sizemore (Hilary) of Sylvester, Terry Blackburn of Albany and Debra Dobbins (Jimmy) of Dallas, GA; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, James Sizemore, Talmadge Sizemore, Marion Sizemore, Thomas Sizemore; sisters, Nell Holmes and Susie Younce.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Sizemore was preceded in death by his brothers, Elbridge Sizemore, David Sizemore, Harold Sizemore and Ed Sizemore.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 from 1:00 PM until funeral hour at Banks Funeral Home.
