Charles A Sevier IV "Chuck" died Friday morning February 12th, after a 10-month battle with leukemia. He was 58.
Chuck was known to be of relentless good cheer and a loyal friend to all. Sometimes nicknamed "911 Chuck" because of his habit of always answering the call of someone in need, whether it be car trouble or a complicated construction problem. Originally following his father into the practice of law, he found real fulfillment and satisfaction as a "jack-of-all-trades" handyman; equally at home under his beloved blue Dodge Ram or installing the most complicated of crown molding. He truly could fix anything and delighted in doing so for clients, family, friends and occasionally strangers in distress he happened upon. Chuck was preceded in death by his father, Charles A Sevier and his brother-in-law, Robert G Hamilton. He is survived by his mother, Carol (Curlin) Mathis; his sisters, Catherine Hamilton, Gail Sevier Weakly (Johnny), and his beloved stepdaughter, Carissa Sevier (pictured.)
