Charles Clifton Scofield, Jr., 75, of North Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest on Tuesday August 24, 2021 at home.
He is survived by: his sons; Paul Michael Scofield and Jeffrey Allen Scofield; his daughter, Patty Ann Leclair and his six grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by: his wife of 38 years; Janet Elaine Scofield and his daughter, Elizabeth Jean Darway.
Charles was born September 19, 1945 in Columbia, SC. He was the son of Charles Clifton Scofield, Sr. and Elizabeth Griffith Scofield. He is a US Navy Veteran, loving father and grandfather. He was dedicated to them all. He was a member of Divine Redeemer Catholic Church in Hanahan, SC.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday August 31, 2021 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Funerals & Cremation, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday September 1, 2021 from 10:00am to 11:00 am at Carolina Memorial Chapel, with the burial to follow at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
