Charles Norman Rosser, Jr. passed away on October 24, 2024, while enjoying one of his favorite hobbies. Born on December 24, 1958, raised in Centre, Alabama, Charles dedicated his life to his Cartersville community, family and friends. Charismatic and never having met a stranger, Charles enjoyed a thirty-three-year career with Snap-on Tools, where he earned national recognition as top salesman. During that time he also developed many lifelong friendships. Even in his downtime, he was always busy helping others. Charles made a positive impact on everyone around him. There was never a problem he couldn't make better; his resourcefulness, ingenuity, and tenacity gave him the ability to improve everything he touched. A loving husband of 48 years, Charles had a big personality and an even bigger heart. His family came first, and he loved Sheila, Celina, and his grand-babies to the end and back. Some of his most cherished moments were made on the annual family beach trips. "Jack of all trades, master of none, though oftentimes better than master of one" - Charles seemed to be the exception. Throughout his life, he excelled at everything, which brought upon a wide variety of hobbies and activities. He loved hunting and fishing, he worked on a pit crew as front tire carrier, perfected the grill, played as an offense tackle and defensive guard with such speed that he left Bear Bryant speechless, and even became a pilot. He lived life to the fullest, always with Sheila right by his side, from their high school sweetheart days as a star football player and cheerleader couple to their getaways to the mountains. Charles left the world better than he found it and the world won't be the same without him. Charles is survived by his wife, Sheila Williams Rosser; his daughter, Celina Rosser Beaver; his son-in-law, Henry Alexander Beaver; and his three grandchildren, Rosser Wells Beaver, Asher Parks Beaver, and Scout Rose Beaver. He is also survived by his mother, Joan Rosser; his sister, Pam (Max) Miller; his brothers Greg and Jeff (Donna) Rosser, and many other close relatives and friends. He touched so many lives across our communities, and we invite you to join the family for the memorial service at First Presbyterian Church Cartersville on Sunday, November 3, 2024. The family will receive friends and family at 3:30pm in the sanctuary, with a memorial service to follow at 4:30pm.
