Charles "Chuck" Oliver Porter, 91, of Coon Rapids, MN passed away peacefully on March 19, 2025, surrounded by loving family.
Born on November 20, 1933, Chuck was a native of South Bend, IN. A proud Marine, he served as an active member during the Korean Conflict of the early 1950s. Chuck spent over 30 years in the avionics engineering division of Honeywell. He was renowned for his integrity and love of family.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Coon Rapids United Methodist Church, 10506 Hanson Blvd., Coon Rapids, on Saturday, May 3, with a visitation from 10-11 am, followed by a service from 11-12 noon, and a luncheon after.
Chuck was preceded in death by his father Herbert Scott, mother Edith, brother Herb and sister Jacque.
He is survived by his wife Iris, sons Scott (Terry) and Mitch (Joni) and granddaughters Mariah (Chad) and Madison (Andrew).
Chuck and Iris were married for 64 years. Chuck will be very much missed by family and friends!
