"Foots"
Charles "Foots" Clay Magee, Jr., of Danbury passed away of Friday in a Houston Hospital at the age of 62.
Foots was born in Indianola, Mississippi on March 4, 1941 to Charles & Lourah Magee Sr. He and his family moved to Danbury in 1995 from Wyoming. He was a very outgoing person so its no wonder that he loved talking to people and he never met a stranger. In addition to umpiring ASA Softball and Little League, cooking, genealogy, playing the guitar, singing and mowing the yard we also things he loved to do. Foots always wore his suspenders.
Survivors included his wife Gunilla Magee; sons Joshua Clay Magee & wife April of Maryland, Garrett Allen Magee of Maryland; daughter Christel Magee of Danbury; sister Catherine Kocher of Connecticut; and grandchild Clayton Magee of Danbury. His parents and sister Patricia Robinso preceeded him in death.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 7, 2003 from 2-4:00pm at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton.
