Charles R. Lazun Sr., 59, of 676 Hayes St., Bethlehem, died Monday in St. Lukes Hospital. He was the husband of Mary C. (Sydorak) Lazun.
He was a machinist in the No.2 machine shop of Bethlehem Steel Corp. before retiring in 1979.
Born in Mount Hope, N.J, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary (Postak) Lazun.
He was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Bethlehem.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
Surviving with his widow are two sons, Charles R Jr. of Wescosville and Richard, at home; a daughter Carol, wife of Joseph F. Shupp,and a brother Michael, both of Bethlehem; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Hessinger of Tempe, Aiz., and Mrs. Irene Stockbridge of Lompac, Calif., and three grandchildren.
Services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the John R. Shupp Funeral Home, 812 E. 4th St. Bethlehem, wil be followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 11 in the church. -Obituary, "The Morning Call", March of 1982.
