Charles George Konkus, August 29, 1940 - December 15, 2020 peacefully entered eternity after an extended battle with Parkinson's Disease. Charles, known as Chuck and Charlie to all that loved him was born August 29th, 1940 to Michael and Ruth Haines Konkus in Elmira, New York. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Chuck is survived by his wife Janice Fullerton Konkus; his daughter Stephanie [Scott] Cost; granddaughter Madeline Cost; grandson Christopher Cost; daughter Meredith [Ernest] Salyer; stepson Ernest Salyer IV; daughter Marsha [Steven] DeVantier; granddaughter Emilie DeVantier; grandson Matthew DeVantier; granddaughter Annaliese DeVantier and granddaughter Leah DeVantier. His surviving siblings are Michael [Arlene] Konkus; Paul [Joyce] Konkus and Linda [Stanley] Burnham and numerous nieces and nephews.
A small service will be held at Unity Presbyterian Church in Fort Mill, on December 21st, 2020 at 2 PM. It will be streamed at https://www.facebook.com/PalmettoFuneralGroup for those unable to attend.
