GIPSON FUNERAL HOME
Charles Sidney Freeman (Charlie) of Lufkin, Texas, passed into the loving arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus
Christ, on Tuesday, October 29, 2024. He was born to Charles Wilton Freeman and Bessie Margaret (Smith)
Freeman on August 4, 1942.
Charlie grew up in Channelview and Pasadena, Texas. He retired from Pipe Distributors Inc. after serving as
Vice President of Operations for 28 years. He loved God, his family, and his dog, and enjoyed his time outside.
Charlie is survived by his children, (Dorinda) Kay Watson, Debbie McAnally and Dick, David Freeman, Tonya
Freeman, and Kimberly Wilding and Brian, 6 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in
death by his parents, Wilton and Bessie.
Family will receive visitors @ 10:00am, Saturday, November 2, 2024 @ Bald Hill Baptist Church, 128 Leon
Tillman Rd, Lufkin, Texas, with a service and graveside to follow at 11:00am.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bald Hill Baptist church in loving memory.
