Charles Adam Crissey, 73, died peacefully on May 28, 2022, in the company of relatives at his home in Plano, Texas, of cancer.
Born August 21, 1948, in Charlevoix, Michigan, he was the youngest of five children of Carl and Cloella (nee Failes) Crissey.
He moved with his family in 1961 to Phoenix where his father opened and operated appliance repair business for 30 years. Charles enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1967 and served as electronic technician specialist (E-5) and an instructor of recording systems.
After his military service, he returned to Phoenix in 1971, where he began his career in consumer electronics. In 1988, he moved to Texas for a position with JC Penny Company, where he worked for 23 years until retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and two sisters.
He is survived by one brother, four daughters, two sons, and eight grandchildren.
He will be interred July 12 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society.
