Charles "Chuck" Kenneth Hooton departed this life on November 26, 2020 after a long and courageous fight with cancer. He was born on November 14, 1969 to Arthur "Bob" Raymond and Lynette Burnside Hooton. Also surviving are his three children, Ashley Hooton, Zachary Hooton and Jennaleah Hooton, grandchildren Xavier, Delaney, Elijah and Christian, one sister Tonia Shedd and husband Joey of McDonough, GA, brothers, Brian Hooton and wife Teresa of Clarksburg, WV and Travis Hooton, Clarksburg, WV, his girlfriend of many years, Robin Depolo, Clarksburg, WV, as well as several Aunts, Uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins that he was very close to and enjoyed spending time with. He was preceded in death by father, Arthur "Bob" Hooton, his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Lila Burnside and paternal grandparents, Charlie & Thelma Hooton.Chuck had a passion for music and was an extremely gifted guitarist. He loved listening to Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Black Sabbath and KISS and went to as many concerts as he could.Chuck enjoyed hunting, fishing and going camping at Audra and Twin Lakes. He loved planting his garden every year, and was especially proud of his tomatoes.He liked history and had a love of historical trivia.Chuck was an original, unforgettable and irreplaceable man. He loved his family and always enjoyed a good celebration. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.A celebration of Chuck's life will be held at Davis Funeral Home 124 Olen Thomas Drive Clarksburg, WV on Wednesday, December 2, 2020 from 4PM - 7PM. In honoring Chuck's wishes, we ask that everyone wear their favorite rock band t-shirt. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his Funeral Care Fund.
