Charles Carter

Charles "Chuck" Allen Carter of Harrington, DE, age 62, passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021. He is survived by his wife, Susan Thompson-Carter; son, Chase Thompson-Carter and stepson, Spencer Powell. He is also survived by his siblings: David, Dale, Brenda and Scott and in-laws: Bobby, JoAnn, Jerry and Barry.

Chuck grew up in Felton, DE and was the son of Charles and Roberta Carter. In high school, in 1976 (the bicentennial year), he broke four records in cross country, track and field, and weightlifting.

He had multiple sclerosis and was hospitalized and in care facilities, VA Home in Milford, DE and Laurelwood in Elkton, MD before finally succumbing to his illness.
