Charles Gary Bramlett, Sr., 69, of Kennesaw, died Monday, January 11, 2021. The family will be having a private memorial service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Atlanta Area Council, Boy Scouts of America, 1800 Circle 75 Pkwy SE, Atlanta, GA 30339.
Gary was a graduate of Georgia State University and a veteran of the United States Navy Reserves. He retired from ING Insurance as an IT specialist. He served as a volunteer for the Boy Scouts for 15 years and loved fishing and camping.
Gary is survived by his wife of 41 years, Melissa Bramlett of Kennesaw; children, Chris Thompson (Leslie) of Summerville, South Carolina, Chuck Bramlett (Veronica) of Austell, Georgia, and Jennifer Gilbert (Jonathon) of Lizella, Georgia; grandchildren, Avalon Thompson, Mike Thompson, Jack Thompson, Emily Bramlett, Brandon Gilbert, Caleb Gilbert, and Audrey Gilbert; brother, Dennis Bramlett of Kennesaw; and several nieces and nephews.
