Charles Linwood Bordeaux, formerly of Newark, DE, went to be with our Lord on September 3, 2021. Born in North Carolina, he was 90 years old.
He was a Deacon at White Clay Creek Presbyterian Church, Scout Master, Sea Scout and Naval Reservist (patrolling the coast of Carolina Beach during WWII) and attended the Boy Scout's World Jamboree in France in 1947. He served on the USS Midway CVA-41. He worked for All American Engineering and the State of Delaware.
After remodeling his home in Delaware, he retired and moved to North Carolina. He then remodeled the home his father built in 1930. Charles was a member of Federal Point Masonic Lodge #753.
He was preceded in death by his son Charles L Bordeaux, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Barbara J. H. Bordeaux: daughters Kathy-Jean (Bob) Agnor - NC; Barbara (Roy) Palo - DE; Gloria (Jim) Kohler - SC; Linda Bordeaux - TX; daughter-in-law Kathleen Bordeaux - FL; one brother and three sisters; 10 Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at St Paul's UMC, Carolina Beach, NC. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers please make donations to your favorite charity.
