Charles A. Betzel, age 87 of Dallas, passed away September 27, 2020.
Charles was the sole proprietor of Charles Betzel and Associates for over 50 years, specializing in insurance sales.
He was born in Breckinridge, Texas on December 25, 1932. He moved to Dallas to make a name for himself. He loved hunting, fishing, and cooking.
Charles is survived by his loving wife, Peggy, his son Joe Betzel and his wife Gail, daughter Andrea , and her husband Henry Castro, stepdaughter Lindsay, and her husband Justin Thurman, stepdaughter Christine Campbell, and granddaughter Bryce Thurman, sister-in-law, Jeanne Betzel, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Charles will be missed by all those who knew him.
A visitation will be held at Restland Funeral Home on Tuesday October 6, from 1:30 to 4:30.
The family would like to thank the staff at Jackson's Place Assisted Living and Centric Home Health, and Hospice for their excellent care of Charlie, during his time with them.
