Charles Albert Osborn, 75, died Friday, April 29th, 2022 at his home in Manassas, VA with his family by his side.
Charles was born September 19th, 1946 in Watseka, Illinois to Charles William and Hazel Marie Osborn. Charles joined the Army at the young age of 17, where he served 26 years. Upon retiring from the Army, he had many awards including the Army Commendation Medal and Legion of Merit.
Charles was a devoted and loving husband and father. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking or helping his friends. He shared a love of Baseball with his daughter Daria and could often be found at a local baseball game. Additionally he spent much of his time volunteering at his local American Legion where he was an active member. He loved to spend his summers with family and friends in the Outer Banks. To know Charles was to love him, and he was well known for his generosity and tenacity for life.
Charles is survived by his wife of 41 years, Dora Osborn, his daughters, Daria Osborn and Maria Chowning, his four brothers, Fred, Roger, Richard, and James Osborn, and his aunt Agnes Seals, along with his many nieces and nephews.
Charles is preceded in death by his father Charles William Osborn, his mother Hazel Marie Osborn, and his sister Agnes.
Charles was laid to rest at Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle, VA.
