Charity Sue Davis-Carnahan, age 44 of New Palestine, passed away Friday, May 13, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 31, 1978 in Indianapolis, Indiana, she is the daughter of Kim & Billie (Koohns) Davis. Charity was a 1996 graduate of New Palestine High School. She continued her education at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Missouri, receiving her bachelor's degree in finance. Recently, on May 10, 2022, Charity was able to exchange vows and become united in marriage, to the love of her life, Randall E. Carnahan.
After college, Charity spent most of her career with the Wellington Group in Indianapolis, serving in the capacity of the Director of Operations and Finance. If you knew Charity, you knew that she was full of life, was loving, and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone she met. Charity loved anything and everything Disney. She enjoyed watching movies, coloring, traveling, reading, and the occasional arts and crafts project. Above everything, what she cherished most was spending time and making memories with her family, who she loved so dearly.
Charity is survived by her, husband, Randall Carnahan of New Palestine; son, Anthony Carnahan of New Palestine; parents, Kim & Billie Davis of New Palestine; brother, Michael (Amanda) Davis of Noblesville; sisters, Jessica West of Pine Knot, Kentucky; and Rebecca Davis-Gifford (Nathan) of Davidson, North Carolina; Nephews; Caden, Austin, Isac, Armando, Dominick; nieces, Emma and Lilliana.
Charity is preceded in death by her brother, Christopher Davis; maternal grandparents, William & Donna Koohns; and paternal grandparents, Everett & Alice Davis.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US HWY 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the mortuary. Burial will follow at New Palestine Cemetery in New Palestine.
