82, passed away on November 15, 2021 after a lengthy illness.
Champion was born on October 12, 1939 in Galveston, Texas to Champion Shelton Inabnet, Jr. and Rosalee (Morgan) Inabnet. He owned American Furniture for 45 years. He enjoyed working with Tiger Football and Little League Baseball in LaMarque, and he always had a good joke to tell. He retired to ranching in Menard, Texas.
Champion is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lorretta Hall Inabnet; his daughter, Patricia Inabnet; his son, C.S. Inabnet, IV; sisters, Carol Greaney Wurst, June Lawler Busby, Nancy Kinsey and Linda Grubbs; seven nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.
Champion S. Inabnet, III and family would like to thank West Texas Hospice Care of San Angelo for their medical, emotional and loving care. The last few years would not have been possible if not for you all. Y'all are truly doing God's work.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 AM on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Fort McKavett Cemetery in Fort McKavett, Texas. Arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Funeral Home of Menard.
