Catherine Wilford

Mrs. Catherine Yvonne "Vonnie" Wilford, 81, of Aiken, SC, wife of the late Al Wilford, entered into rest on Friday, November 8, 2024.



Born in and a resident of Orangeburg County, SC, most of her life, she was the daughter of the late Arnold and Nora Frye Price. She retired as a Shipping Clerk from the Albemarle Corporation. Miss Vonnie enjoyed reading, singing, and, of course, shopping. At family gatherings, she was always welcomed by the young children. She always had each one of them a gift.



Family members include her children, Ralph A. "Tony" Wilford and his wife, Laurie, and Susan "Sandee" Wells; siblings Lee Price, Jr. and his wife, Lynnett and Susan Salley; a grandson, Josey Wells; a great-grandson, Elliott Wells; and several other relatives.



In honoring her wishes, Miss Vonnie will be cremated.



The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, from 6 until 8 o'clock at Hatcher Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3464 Jefferson Davis Highway, Graniteville, SC.
