Catherine Davis Schultz of Richardson, Texas passed away on Friday, March 19, 2021 at the age of 91.
Catherine Davis Schultz was born on December 18, 1929 in Stamford, Texas to her parents: Thomas and Frances (Sherrill) Davis. She graduated from Haskell High School in 1937 with honors. After High School, Catherine attended Texas Christian University and Texas Tech University. She married William Phil Schultz on August 20, 1950 in Haskell, Texas. Catherine was a long-time volunteer in the Richardson Women's Club and was also a standing member of the Daughters of the American Revolution until her passing. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Richardson, Texas and a founding member of The Wild Fowl Club in Haskell, Texas. Catherine enjoyed fashion design and jewelry, American Indian and old west folk lore. She especially loved being with her family. She was faithful, selfless, generous and a loving leader; a romantic at heart.
Catherine Davis Schultz was preceded in death by her husband William Phil Schultz, her parents Thomas and Frances Davis and her brother Thomas Richard Davis.
She is survived by her son, Phil Thomas Schultz and his wife, Pamela Paradowski Schultz of College Station, TX; grandchildren: Justin Davis Schultz and wife, Sandra Marie Schultz of McKinney, TX and Jessica Christine Hutto-Schultz and wife, Ashley Hutto-Schultz of Alexandria, VA; great grandchildren: Michael, Matthew and Kyle Schultz and many other loving family members and friends.
A service for Catherine Davis Schultz will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 2:30 pm in The Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. The family of Catherine Davis Schultz will receive guests one hour prior to service from 1:30-2:30 pm. Restland is located at 13005 Greenville Ave. Dallas, TX 75243 and can be reached at 972-238-7111.
