Catherine "Cathy" Alice (Sandmeyer) Newville, age 67, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2025, at her home in Butte, MT following a long battle with cancer.
Cathy is survived by her husband James Newville, and their children Angie Newville and Teresa (Roman) Nalivka; her two grandchildren Reed and Olivia; sisters Barb Reed, Diane (Mark) Forsyth, Brenda Black; and many nieces and nephews.
Cathy is preceded in death by her parents Bob and Alice Sandmeyer and brother Steve.
Her service will be held on Friday, May 16th at the St. James, MN Eagles Club. Visitation at 10:00, service will start at 11:00, with lunch to follow.
Catholic service and burial will be held in Butte, MT at a later date. Please refer to Axelson's at www.buttefuneralhome.com for further updates and information.
