Catherine A (Moquin) Simpson, 85 died on April 22, 2021, at her home in Goffstown NH. She was born on September 16, 1935 to Arcade and Dolores (Roy) Moquin in Manchester NH. She was a resident of Goffstown for over 75 years. She was a graduate of Manchester Central High School, class of 1953.
She worked twenty years for the New Hampshire Insurance Company and retired from Saint Anslem College after working eight years in the Deans Office and five years in Campus Ministry.
She was a girl Scout leader for six years and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Goffstown Fire Department. She recently volunteered at the CMC and other organizations.
She was predeceased by her husband Phillip Simpson Sr. and a daughter Mary Ann Simpson.
Her family includes a son Phillip Simpson Jr and his partner Paul Petrimoulx of Weare, two daughters, Barbara Birmingham Chase and her partner Robert Taylor of Manchester and Patricia St. Onge and her husband Steven of Manchester, a sister Rita Villemure of Goffstown, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and will be missed for her compassion and inclusivity of everyone she met.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday April 27 from 6pm-8pm at the French and Rising Funeral Home in Goffstown. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday April 28 at 10am at the St. Lawrence Church in Goffstown NH.
