Catherine C. "Kitty" Comer Hutchings, 87, passed away on January 28, 2020 after a brief illness.

She was born in Columbus, Ohio on January 20, 1933, the daughter of the late Francis M. Comer and Helen Vaughan Beeson Comer.

Kitty was a 1950 graduate of Saint Patrick High School. She attained her degree in Arts and Science from the University of Kentucky in 1954. While attending college in Lexington she was a member of the Delta Delta Delta Sorority and a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Society.

Kitty is survived her daughter and son-in-law, Catherine H. Lindner and Dr. John E. Lindner, Sr. of Louisville, Helen Adelaide Lindner, her granddaughter, John E. "Jack" Lindner, Jr., her grandson and John R. Hutchings, IV, her son, of May's Lick as well as a number of cousins and friends in Maysville and across the country.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Michael.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Saint Patrick Church at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 31, 2020 with Rev. Michael Comer as the celebrant. Burial will follow in the Saint Patrick Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10:00 AM until the hour of the mass.
