Private family services are being planned for Caryl Ann Osborn, who, following a brief, non-COVID-19 related illness, died Saturday June 26, 2021, at her home.
Caryl Ann was born April 17, 1933, in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Carl and Emily Louise (Yanson) Stuhrberg.
A proud graduate of University High School, in Ann Arbor, MI, Caryl Ann attended and graduated from the University of Arizona, before returning to Ann Arbor, where she spent several years working in advertising. Caryl Ann was a member of the LaPorte Presbyterian Church, and, along with her daughter, a member of Alpha Phi Sorority.
On September 21, 1957, in Ann Arbor, she married David D. Osborn, who pre-deceased her in 2015. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Tom) Larson of LaPorte; son, D. Drummond (Suzanne) Osborn II of LaPorte; grandchildren, Matthew (Maggie) Larson of Minneapolis, MN, Gregory (Kylie) Larson of Munster, IN, Michael (Kelsey) Osborn of Greenwood, IN, Rachel (Nicholas) Osborn Easley of Toledo, and Emily Osborn of Toledo; and great-children Sawyer Larson of Minneapolis, Cornelius Larson of Munster, Claire Larson of Munster, and Eliza Easley of Toledo.
Caryl Ann was predeceased by her parents, and her sister, Harriet Stuhrberg Lacy.
Caryl Ann dedicated her entire life to family, friends and community, and will be remembered for her guiding love, which was selflessly shared with family and friends, alike.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Deer Creek Open Space Association (St. Joseph, MI) and VNA Foundation, Valparaiso, IN, or any LaPorte or Ann Arbor community organization of the donor's choice.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, La Porte, Indiana.
