Carron L. Schnoor

Carron L. Schnoor, 83, of Savannah, TX, passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2024. A private celebration of her life will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.

Carron was born in Harmony, MN on January 23, 1941. She was the daughter of Arthur and Ruby Haugen. She married Gary Ruesink on February 17, 1961. He preceded her in death on November 30, 2004 in Bella Vista, AR. Carron started her career in the pathology lab at the Mayo clinic in Rochester, MN. Later in life she and Gary owned and operated an appliance and TV store in Spring Valley and Stewartville, MN. She was often the life of the party and kept everyone laughing with her Norwegian jokes. She loved slot machines and playing Five Crowns and Scrabble. Carron was also preceded in death by her second husband Ron Schnoor of Stockton, IA.

Those left to celebrate her life include her children: Kent Ruesink (Amy), Kyle Ruesink and Karla Kohler (Tom), grandchildren: Chris Miles, Austin Ruesink, Greg Kohler, Konner Thomas, Erin Petty and Logan Kohler; three great grandchildren and a sister, Candice Wiste. In addition to her parents and husbands, Carron was also preceded in death by her brothers: Norm, Alan, Harlan, Don, Ken, and Michael.
