Carroll W. Vereb (Mick) passed away at his home on Camano Island, Thursday April 28, 2022. following a brief illness. Mick was born and raised in Roslyn, Washington, to Darlene Kauzlarich and Frank Vereb both who proceeded him in death. He graduated Cle Elum in the class of 57, and he remained friends with many of his classmates. He was a member of the Roslyn Eagles for 54 years. He worked for the Highway Department on Snoqualmie pass and Standard Stations in Seattle for several years and never lost his love for cars. After moving to Yakima to marry his wife of 49 years, Nina Tokarsyck, he worked for Cascade Fire Equipment until he retired. He had many interests and hobbies and was know for his ability to fix anything even if it meant using his chain saw a joke that followed him his whole life. He also loved gambling and spent time in all six casinos close by. Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by his two brothers Ken and Ger Vereb, Stepfather, Arden Bloom, best friends Terry Bland and Larry Polley. He is survived by his wife, Nina and his beloved dog Cooper and best friends Gene Hicks, and Pete and Diane Adkins and nephew Steve Vereb.
Mass will be held at St. John Catholic Church in Cle Elum Washington on Friday May 6, 2022 at 11am , interment following at Laurel Hill Cemetery and a reception at the Cle Elum Senior Center.
