We are sad to announce the passing of Carroll Douglas "Bud" Shelley Sr of Highland Village TX, who died peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, December 4 at the age of 83. Bud, the middle child of three, grew up in South Carolina before moving to Washington D.C. where he met and married his bride, Wanda Good Shelley. Bud and Wanda moved to Tennessee and eventually Texas as part of his 37-year career with American Airlines - and they celebrated 61 years of marriage on November 24, 2022. Together, they loved and provided for four children, two granddaughters and one great grandson. He loved us, and we loved him - more than words can express. We are so grateful for our time together. Public Viewing will be held Thursday, December 8 from 6-8pm.
Public Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 9 at 11am followed by a private burial. Both public services will be at Mulkey Mason funeral home in Lewisville TX. For those who wish to attend but cannot be there in person, we will have a livestream of Friday's service.
