Carrie (Mae) Smith 87, widow of James C Smith entered into eternal rest on August 18, 2024 at her home She was born April 16, 1937 a daughter of the late Charles Anderson, Sr and Lou Ella Sheard.
She was a graduate of Brewer High School and retired from the Bayberry Inn after 30 years of service.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Calvin (Coretta) Smith of Williston, SC and Micheal (Chantelle) Smith of Greenwood; one daughter, Katrina Smith of the home; three sisters, Louise Foster of Coronaca, SC Rosa Anderson and Mamie Garrett of Hodges, SC; a sister in law, Betty Anderson of Hodges, SC 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 2 gg grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held 2 PM Saturday, at Oakbrook Memorial Park with Rev. Michael Butler officiating and Rev. Carlton Klugh assisting.
Public viewing will be from 1-6 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
