On August 26, 2024, Carolynne Dianne Selzer (nee Caba), 77, peacefully embraced the Lord surrounded by loving family at Banner Del E Webb Medical Center. Born on August 6, 1947, in South Dakota to Emmanuel and Clarice Caba, Carolynne moved with her family and was raised in Nampa, Idaho as the second oldest of seven siblings, Pau lCaba, Alan Caba, Elaine Lincoln, Dianne Caba, Brian Caba and Bruce Caba. Carolynne was a graduate of Nampa Highschool. She attended Lutheran Bible Institute in Seattle Washington and later Boise State University, often working summers at a salmon cannery in Alaska. She later received her accounting degree from Arizona State University becoming a Certified Public Accountant. While attending Boise State University she met and married Victor W. Selzer, her husband of fifty-three (53) years with whom she raised three children and to whom she devoted her life. Leaving Idaho she adopted Arizona as her home for more than forty three (43) years. Together Carolynne and Victor raised their family living in Texas, Arizona and China while traveling the world together. Continuing throughout her life Carolynne had many diverse interests, including passions for skiing, tennis, bowling, shooting, sewing, quilting, photography, painting, pottery, art, amateur radio (KG7PIC), choir and music where she delighted in playing the organ and piano for her church. Carolynne was devoted to her Lutheran faith, raised her family in faith, and lived her life by example as a faithful Christian and good friend. Carolynne is survived by her husband Victor and three children, her son Christopher A. and wife Sandra Selzer, her daughter Jennifer C. and husband Alan Dresser, and her daughter Mychael L. and husband Jonathon Williams. Carolynne leaves five (5) grandchildren, Abigail Selzer, Peyton and Lucas Dresser, and Jackson and Collin Williams. Carolynne is also survived by her husband's sister Pamela Selzer, and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family all of whom she loved and cherished. Carolynne will live forever in all of us. Private services will be conducted in Nampa Idaho. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in the Name of Carolynne Dianne Selzer to either the Arizona Mayo Clinic Kidney Transplant Program (www.philathropy.mayoclinic.org) or American Kidney Foundation (www.give.kidneyfund.org).
