Carolyn Rivers Yandle

Carolyn Rivers Yandle died Nov. 19, 2022. She was born on Nov. 29, 1942 in Augusta Ga. to Juanita and Teofilo Rivers, but grew up in Waynesville, NC.

She worked as a Media Specialist in Charlotte-Mecklenburg schools for thirty-eight years, the longest stretch at Albemarle Road Middle. She was a lifelong sports fan, avidly following the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte Checkers.

She was predeceased by her parents, her step-mother Lillian Rivers, her siblings Linda Hamilton and James Michael Rivers, uncles Milton and Dale Massey, in-laws Ruth and Cecil Yandle, and her husband John Yandle.

She is survived by her many friends and her daughter Ashley Yandle of Raleigh. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Loaves and Fishes of Charlotte.
