Carolyn Louise (Peck) Stott, of Battlement Mesa, Colorado, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025. She was a loving wife, devoted mother and mother-in-law, cherished Nana and great-Nana, an exceptional teacher, and a kind, loyal friend to all who knew her.
Born February 24, 1946, in Salina, Kansas, to Carson Stewart and Willamae (Witt) Peck, Carolyn was their only child. She met the love of her life, Glenn Stott, and married him just four months after their first date. Together they shared more than 54 years of deep love, partnership, and family devotion.
Carolyn's greatest joy was her family. She treasured her son Michael, his wife Jessica, grandchildren Andrew and Sophia, Andrew's wife Asia, and her great-grandchildren, Hudson Glenn and Elliette Josephine. Each addition to the family filled her life with even greater happiness.
For 32 years, Carolyn taught in the Roaring Fork School District, most notably second grade at Basalt Elementary, where she became a favorite teacher remembered for creativity, warmth, and imagination. After retiring to Parachute, Colorado, she embraced an active social life, forming lasting friendships through book clubs, bunco, and TOPS.
Carolyn loved Christmas traditions, baking favorite cookies, and caring for others with quiet selflessness. She will be remembered for her genuine smile, generous heart, and the love she shared so freely.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother-in-law, Lonnie Stott, her sister-in-law and her husband, Dixie and Joe Fiou. She is survived by her husband, Glenn Stott, son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Jessica Stott, her grandson, Andrew Stott and his wife, Asia and granddaughter, Sophia Stott; two great-grandchildren, Hudson and Elliette; as well as her sister-in-law and her husband, Martha and Doug Pratt; sister-in-law, Alice Stott; and several nieces and nephews.
