Carolyn Elaine Presgraves , 67 Apr 13, 1953 - May 2, 2020 Carolyn Elaine Presgraves , 67 Apr 13, 1953 - May 2, 2020 Carolyn Elaine Presgraves, 67, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away, Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at the Meritus Medical Center.
Born Monday, April 13, 1953 in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Grant Nalley and the late Gladys Romaine (Risher) Nalley.
Carolyn graduated from North Hagerstown High School and Vo-Tech in 1969.She was employed with Mack Truck/ Volvo retiring after many years of service. Carolyn was also co-owner of Jim's Small Engine Repair for 37 years. She was a member of UAW Local 171, and a founding member of the Citizens on Patrol for the Hagerstown City Police.
She is survived by her husband of 49 years James Ott Presgraves, Jr.; two sons, James Ott Presgraves, III and wife Stacey of Mercersburg, PA and Duane Michael Presgraves and wife Kim of Mercersburg, PA; daughter, Brandi Lee Presgraves of Hagerstown, MD; grandson, James Ott Presgraves, IV of Hagerstown, MD; three sisters, Glenda Frazee, Wilma Kepler and Jane Morrison all of Hagerstown, MD; four brothers, Ron Nalley of Altoona, PA, Bill Nalley of Lynchburg, VA, Terry Nalley of Hagerstown, MD and Harlan Nalley of Hagerstown, MD.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl Nalley, Gene Nalley and Kenneth Nalley, sister, Patsy Smith and Ruth Dunbebin
Services will be held privately with the family
Interment will be at the Rest Haven Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Washington County Commission on Aging, Inc. 535 East Franklin Street, Hagerstown, MD 21740 or to Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, KS 66675-8516.
