Carolyn Straughan Lam, 84, of Tyler, went to be with her Heavenly Father Friday evening July 10, 2020 at her residence.
She was born on March 20, 1936 to Phed and Mary Bea Straughan of Oklahoma.
Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, the love of her life of 55 years, husband Paul R. Lam and daughter Sharon K. Lam.
Carolyn is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Martha Lam; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Gene Champion; brother, Gene Straughan; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be at from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Stewart Family Funeral Home, 7525 Old Jacksonville Hwy., Tyler, with burial following at 11:30 a.m. at Cathedral in the Pines, 7825 S. Broadway, Tyler.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to nurse Brittany and caregiver Candice of Hospice of East Texas for their care during this difficult time.
