She spent almost three decades teaching English and home economics at Post High School where she had a positive influence on so many of her students, whom she cared about dearly. She was absolutely devoted to her family, was a voracious reader, great cook and enjoyed completing the New York Times crossword puzzle. Carolyn was a member of the Post Church of Christ, Amity Club, a couples bridge club, and her own "Post Music Club" with her close friends.
