Carolyn Foos

Carolyn Foos March 1, 1944 - June 17, 2022 Derby, Kansas - Carolyn (Cooper) Foos, 78, of Derby Kansas, died on June 17 at the home of her daughter. She was born on March 1, 1944, in Wichita, Kansas to Richard (RN) and Eva Cooper, the last of five children. She grew up in Wichita and graduated from Mt. Carmel High School in 1962. Carolyn married Roger T. Foos on December 31, 1965. The couple made their home in Wichita, and later, Belle Plaine. She enjoyed gardening, dancing, playing games, and spending time with her family. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her three brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and wife Dottie, John and wife Donna, and Dick and wife Irene. She is survived by her sister, Natalie Hutchens, and husband Jim of Wichita, Kansas; by her children, Kathy Graeff and husband Ed of Winfield, Kansas, and Karen Langford and husband Steve of Rockdale, Texas; by four grandchildren, Savannah Gobel and husband Alex of Edmond, Oklahoma, Samantha Polasek and husband Andrew of Dallas, Texas, Danielle Langford of Rockdale, Texas, and Jennifer Langford of Oak Harbor, Washington; and by two great-grandchildren, Evie and Dean Gobel. A celebration of life will be held July 9th at The Lounge at Omni Business Center from 1pm to 5pm.
