It is with deepest love and sorrow that the family of Caroline Mae Wykowski regretfully announces her passing on September 19, 2022 after a brief illness.
She was born May 2, 1933 in Montague, MA to Peter and Anna (Kacenski) Magdycz. She married Edward C Wykowski on February 4, 1951. Together they farmed tobacco, cucumbers and potatoes while raising four children in Whately for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, Polish music and Polkas, traveling, horse and dog racing, bingo and going to the casinos. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan.
She was predeceased by her husband Edward, her son Dennis, sister Emily Dupay, brothers Peter, John, Edward, Albert and Raymond Magdycz.
Caroline will be greatly missed by her children, Shirley Ring of Whately, Tammy Warger and her husband Robert of Whately, Edward Wykowski Jr and his wife Shari Hollander of Easthampton; granddaughters: Carolyn Czernich and her husband Todd, Trisha Minich-Warger and her husband Jason, Tiffany Warger and a step grandson Ryan Hollander. She also leaves her great-grandchildren Landon and Keith Warger, Nathan Warger, Penelope and Anthony Minich. She leaves behind her sister Jeanette Hall of Pelham and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Caroline will be on Friday (9/30/2022) at 11:00 a.m. at the Wrisley Funeral Home, 90 Sugarloaf Street, South Deerfield, with Fr. Robert Koerber officiating, followed by burial in the Holy Name of Jesus Cemetery. Calling hours at Wrisley Funeral Home will be the previous evening, Thursday (9/29/2022) from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
