Carole Ann Harman, aged 80, of Poolesville, MD, passed away on July 12, 2024.
She was born on July 21, 1943 in Washington, DC to Jack and Mary Bernadine (Scagnelli) Driskill and was a civil servant at the National Institutes of Health for 53 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 35 years, Richard Allan "Kirk" Kirkpatrick, as well as her parents, a brother Robert, and a sister Donna.
Carole is survived by son LtCol. John W. Harman, USMC (ret.) and his wife Jodi Lynne of Alexandria, VA; son Adam D. Harman and his wife Jessica Forney of Huntingtown, MD; and niece Lori Collins Anello and her husband Kevin of Cincinnati, OH. Also surviving Carole are 10 grandchildren, 2 stepchildren, brother David Driskill of Selbyville, DE, and many extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will take place later this year. Her and her late husband's cremains will be interred in a columbarium at Arlington National Cemetery.
